Minister of Worship
Nathan Vaughn began ministry at Highland Hills in 2010 leading worship, directing the choir, and overseeing other aspects of music ministry. Nathan was born and raised in the endless mountains of north eastern Pennsylvania where he attended Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit where he studied Music Ministry.
Following college Nate took the opportunity to serve at Lincoln Lake Baptist Camp in the Summer of 2006. He served as part of the Worship Team at Berlin Baptist Church in Marne, MI while working as a manager at Guitar Center in Grand Rapids. In 2013 he served as the Minister of Worship and Children’s Ministry at Calvary Bible Church in Ellerslie, MD. In 2015 he resumed his role at Highland as the Minister of Music. Nate teaches the Discovery FLOCK class comprised of parents with school age-kids and presents devotionals at AWANA special programs/events.
He and his wife, Danielle, met at Baptist Bible College while working in the kitchen. They have been married since 2005 and have a precocious beagle Annabelle. Nate and Danielle have made serving the Lord wherever they are as the primary importance in their marriage, being a part of each other’s ministries all along the way.
Nate enjoys singing, playing guitar, playing trombone, fishing, and playing games.
