Office Manager & Director of Children's Ministries
Danielle Vaughn has been Director of Children’s Ministries at Highland since 2017. She has served as a Ministry Director at two previous churches including Berlin Baptist Church of Marne, MI and Calvary Bible Church of Ellerslie, MD. She attended Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA where she studied Elementary Education. She subbed in the Grand Rapids Public Schools and Northpointe Christian Schools for about 10 years before taking on the position of Secretary here and later adding Children’s Director to her responsibilities.
Danielle has loved Children’s Ministry her whole life. She started working with a preschool Sunday school class while in Junior High and has been involved in Children’s Ministry to some capacity ever since. Her heart is to train the next generation to love God and serve the Body of Christ with the talents with which He has gifted them.
Danielle met her husband Nate Vaughn (who is the Minister of Worship) while studying at Baptist Bible College (Clarks Summit, PA) and they married January of 2005. They have served side-by-side at three churches and one camp (Lincoln Lake Baptist Camp: Summer 2006). They love camping, bowling, and game nights with their extended family. They have a 7-year-old beagle named Annabelle who loves every person she has ever met, especially kids.
