Associate Pastor for Youth and College
Nicholas Melonas joined Highland Hills Baptist Church in June 2017 as the Associate Pastor of Student Ministries, overseeing the Junior High, High School, and College ministries. Originally from New England, Nicholas moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2009 to attend The Master's College and graduated in 2012 with his B.A. in Biblical Languages. He then continued his education at The Master's Seminary and graduated in 2016 with his Master of Divinity.
Pastor Nick has served in multiple capacities including Chaplain of The Master's College, guest speaker for bible camps, bible teacher and preacher, biblical language professor, guest blogger, and shepherd of children, youth, and adult ministries. In addition, he has also worked in Marketing, Software Automation, Business Development, and has taught private cello lessons since 2005.
Nicholas has been married to his wife, Courtney, since 2013 and together they have 2 sons. As a family, they are committed to serving, discipling, and encouraging young people to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and become more like Him each day. Their interests and passions include books, antiques, playing games, spending time with family and friends, playing the cello, cross-cultural ministry, world-wide missions, and building a home founded on Christ and His word.
