The Highland Hills Festival of Sacred Music (HHFSM) is based in Grand Rapids, MI, and showcases performances of sacred, musical works composed for and/or by the Christian Church.

This is an opportunity unlike any other in our region. This year's festival includes:

• Performances and masterclasses presented by Philip Smith, Principal Trumpet of the New York Philharmonic, Sheila Smith, soprano, and local brass musicians.
• An admission-free Gala Concert on 3/23/2010 that is open to the public. The Gala Concert will feature the Intercollegiate Brass Choir, Mr. Smith on trumpet, the GVSU Trumpet Ensemble, and the Highland Hills Festival Chorus (HHFC). The gala concert will be conducted by both Mr. Smith and Randall Wm. Burghart, Music Director of the Evangelical Choral Society.
• An opportunity to help those in need: All proceeds from the free-will offering taken at the Gala Concert will go directly to David's House Ministries—a local compassion ministry dedicated to assisting developmentally-disabled adults.

Registration

Certain festival events and involvements require registration. All festival events occur at Highland Hills Baptist Church. The Events page has detailed descriptions of festival activities, including times and fees.

If you are a local musician who would like to attend (audit) Trumpet Day and/or a masterclass given by Mr. Smith, please:

2. Complete the form and save it to your computer.
3. Print the form and mail it to Highland Hills Baptist Church with your payment (preferred), or e-mail the form to us and pay for the selected event(s) at the door.

If you are a member of a participating ensemble, do not use the Audtior Registration Form.

Participation as an ensemble in this festival is by invitation only. Brass ensembles, please:

Musicians participating with an ensemble attend all festival events for the one-time fee specified on the Ensemble Registration Form.
